(1) In the case of making any credit/adjustments to an invoice against which you have received payments, go to the Accounting section and click Account Register.

(2) Select the client’s name from the filters. 

(3) Click View Details to see the detailed list of the invoices.

You can receive payments, apply deposits, make any credits/adjustments to the invoice and have a look at the transaction history for that invoice. 

(4) Click the Credits/Adjustments icon and it will navigate you to a new page. 

The invoice number will be pre-selected. You can add the amount, put in an invoice memo, select the date when you want to put the Credits/Adjustments and choose the Adjustment Types. There are two types of adjustment types with different options mentioned below.
